My favorite part of Easter is volunteering at Progress Ranch here in Davis. It is a group boys home that we (Venture Club of Davis) through an Easter party for every year. It always includes an egg hunt, games and cookie decorating. The boys really love this day.

I LOVE dying eggs... even before I had kids I did it every year even if by myself... sparkle eggs, painted eggs, tie dye eggs... only problem is i cant bare to waste the eggs so i use boiled eggs and usually by the time i eat them all im pretty tired of eggs for a few months. At least this year Ill have someone to help me eat them.. lol

Last year I would have said that my favorite thing about Easter is the dinner: ham, fresh veggies, and cheesy potatoes. But now that I have a little girl, I think my favorite part of this holiday is her cute new Easter dress! I'd love a 12-18 month shirt for her. Thanks!

My favorite part of Easter is shaking off the winter cabin fever and running around like maniacs outside looking for eggs. We live in NY so it is usually a chilly but energetic egg hunt! This year is our daughter's first Easter and I am sure she is going to get a kick out of watching her older brother and dad furious looking for the eggs!

My favorite part of Easter is putting on a frilly dress. Every year (when I was little) I would scream and cry because my mom would put me in a frilly-girly dress. Now, as an adult, we have this on going joke... I show up for family dinner (which is equally the best part- seeing all my family together) in a frilly dress, and later change ;)

My favorite part of Easter is the early morning egg hunt. I like that the "Easter Bunny" hides the eggs in the same funny places that he did when I was a child. How does he get them up in the trees?

As a child my favorite time of Easter was wearing a new dress to church and taking a family picture afterwards with everyone dressed up. As a newer mom I'm not sure yet what will be the favorite tradition for us. But I'm really looking forward to decorating my son's room while he's asleep and then watching his reaction to the pictures on the wall when he wakes up. Once my little guy "gets" what is going on, an Easter Egg hunt is definitely on the agenda.

well here in Finland in Easter kids go from door to door dressed up as witches asking for candy. (Just like kids there in Halloween.) If you give candy you'll get a twig decorated with colourful easter feathers in return. This is my favourite Easter happening :)

My favorite part as a kid was following the clues my mother wrote to fill our baskets. I hope to do the same for my little girl.

Years ago, everyone dressed 'to the nines' for Easter. That is not true now. Easter renews my faith...I sometimes question a lot of things about religion, but this fantastic (believable?) event seems to renew my faith!
I love going to the mountains and eating chicken with my family, and watermelon!

The favorite part is getting out toys/goodies presented in the past I alway saved one toy/suffed animal and fill the children's past Easter baskets with the memorbalia. It brings communication/family together even at holidays.

Easter is such a special time for our entire family...we all relish in the arrival of Spring and this year will be my youngest granddaughter's first Easter. Beautiful spring flowers,wearing our Sunday best,dying eggs and hunting for goodies all bring smiles. But nothing is better than Easter dinner when we all come together to celebrate the resurrection/renewing of everything that important in our lives. Its really a great time of the year.

I love alot about Easter,I love to dye eggs with my 4 children and I LOVE to do Easter Baskets for them, I tend to go overboard though and buy WAY too much...
I think though we should try to all get our kids to remember that's it's not all about the Easter Bunny, It is a religious holiday to somean we need to make sure they know that.

Pur annual Easter egg hunt in our backyard is always the hilight. Little do they know that we recycle the eggs in the yard when they find them. Those 2 dozen go a long way.

I think my favorite part of Easter is actually the night before. We sit with our son and decorate the eggs and have lots of lively conversation. There is just something so sweet and peaceful about it.
