To Celebrate Earth Day and Sophie Uliano's book Gorgeously Green, we are giving away the following 100% Organic Cotton Shirts:

These are just some of the shirts Julia Roberts' (who wrote the forward to the book) children have.
We will give one shirt to one winner, so we will have a total of three winners. The winners will be picked randomly. The deadline is April 22, 2008 at 7:00 PM PST.

We have switched to the energy efficiant lightbulbs, we reuse whatever we can (all our tupperware is from the chinese takeout place!) and though we cant afford to buy a hybrid car, we took our polluting gas guzzler Land Rover off the road!

I use my recycling bins daily when throwing items away. At the end of the week, I take the items to our city drive-through center.
Onesie in 6-12 months would be perfect for Isha Sparrow on breast milk only and organic foods!
We do a bunch of things daily that are green, and are trying to incorporate more and more. I think the biggest thing has been changing all of our cleaning products to green ones -- and for me being a former paper towel user for cleaning and 37 other uses, switching to recyclable/washable rags/towels has drastically cut down on our paper consumption.
If I were to win, I'd love the kids Sunflower tee. I love it and know my daughter would too. I'd want it to be in the Medium (10/12) size.

Recycle, switch on the lights later in the evening, use solar lights for the outside, use eco-friendly items in our kitchen, bathroom and for cleaning. Use cloth bags for shopping.

Happy Friday! What a delightful contest! On a daily basis, we take much shorter showers and I don't even take one daily. It isn't necessary. We also have turned down the temperature of the hot water tank.

The suflower T is my favorite.
I hang my laundry outdoors after I've washed them in NON-Chemical detergent like Mrs Meyers or Bio-kleen. I also use a SIGG waterbottle and use cloth shopping bags.

I recently started unplugging my computer and tvs when not in use. I read that even when not turned on they are energy hogs. Also recycle everyday.

Kids Sunflower in yellow, size L so we can all wear it! We recycle all plastics, aluminium, etc at home and use powersaving light bulbs.
We recycle all cans and plastic bottles, etc. Our thermostat is programmed to drop the temperature very low during the nighttime. We're in the process of changing over all of our lightbulbs to energy efficient ones. We're about 2/3 of the way done. It's expensive so it takes time.

I'm an avid recycler and we have changed several things in our home, one of which are canvas totes to go grocery shopping so that we don't use paper or plastic bags. We hope to move towards being 80% Green by 2009.
